101 things in 1001 days

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Health, Beauty and Self Improvement

  • Read 5 books on nutrition over a 3 month period
  • Eat 5 superfoods 3x a week for 3 months
  • Drink only water for one week
  • Adopt a good skincare regime
  • Walk to and from work for 3 months
  • Take a multivitamin every day for a month
  • Walk up Thompson St and down Bidwill/up the stairs 3x a week for one month
  • Lose 5 kilos
  • Visit the Dentist and arrange work to be done over the period of 2 years [Nov 2010 - consultation, wisdom teeth extraction]
  • Walk to Kilbrinie from Oriental Bay
  • Run 5ks without stopping
  • Do Yoga/Pilates every day for a month
  • Come down to a much more healthier weight range – lose at least 10% of weight each year (started going to the gym)
  • Implement exercise into my daily routine
  • Take lunch to work every day for two weeks
  • Do the Pencarrow Lighthouse walk
  • Do a press up

Financial Matters

  • Bake a pavloa from scratch
  • Try a new recipe from a random cookbook once a month for 6 months.
  • Bake bread from scratch and not in a breadmaker

  • Learn 5 more vol au vents recipes
  • Start a small garden
  • Get 3 singing lessons
  • Make Tiramisu from scratch
  • Make jam or chutney
  • Write a blogpost every day for 1 month

  1. Wow good luck. I really like this idea. Maybe i’ll start one too. But it might take me quite some time to actually write this list. I really like the in depth thought you’ve put into the health part.

  2. Thanks, I tend to break most lists/ projects etc down into compartments.
    In saying so – its quite impressive that you’re blogging everyday until your 30!
